Some Hairline Options For SMP
defined/sharp edge up hairline
This type of hairline is popular with Asian & Afro-Caribbean clients, but not always suitable for everyone as it blends in well with darker hair and skin complexions. It creates a fresh out of the barber look which is distinct, easily seen and visible -ultimately giving a more youthful appearance, and very popular in the States. As we love creating a natural look, we can always modify the hairline by softening it with few scattered impressions along the hairline. It’ll still crisp but with the right amount of naturalism, which looks and ages better!
Faded / Feathered / Soft Hairline
This is a subtle natural looking hairline that gradually fades into the forehead with no hard on sharp lines. This is built up using less impressions to achieve a softer feathered look. This is perfect for people with complete hair loss as the soft hairline appearance is more difficult to detect, as blends perfectly with your natural hair.
Broken / Jagged hairline
This hairline is slightly broken & scattered in appearance but not faded in style like the above hairline mentioned (Faded/ feathered/ Soft). This is more defined as it appears to be more dense and is likely to resemble your original hairline prior to your hair loss. The Jagged Hairline is when the pigment impressions are scattered a little more randomly and spaced out more from one and other, removing straightness of the hairline.
Receded Hairline
The receded hairline is a popular natural looking hairline and suits many. With the sides slightly pushed back this hairline gives a more mature natural look and is often created by following the existing shape of the muscle structure on the scalp, producing that incredible realism. Although it creates some maturity it won’t make you look old as you’re getting a new hairline that’s still youthful and natural looking.
Widows peak / pointed hairline
Widows peak carries a ‘V’ shaped characteristic and creates a very natural looking hairline with a slight recession on the angled hairline – this is often chosen by older guys but can also look great on others too. Please note that we may not always be able to achieve your desired hairline if we feel that this is not going to look natural or give you optimum looking results.
